GTA SAN ANDREAS in 2023 GRAPHICS WILL LOOK LIKE THIS!

GTA San Andreas in Unreal Engine 5 is nice, but modder 12th Hour takes things to a whole new level by fixing many of Rockstar’s mistakes found in Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. The latter was released nearly two years ago by Grove Street Games and featured remastered versions of GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas with upscaled textures.

When Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition was released in November 2021, it wasn’t great, to say the least. This collection featured remasters of Rockstar Games’ finest from the iconic GTA series.

Grove Street Games spent two years developing these remasters in hopes of maintaining the look and feel of the original games. This was achieved by copying the physics code from the originals, while artificial intelligence was used to upscale textures. Some of the color schemes, lighting effects and weather were added from Grand Theft Auto V, but those familiar with the trilogy know that they come nowhere close to what you see hear by 12th Hour.

IS THIS WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN?

However, that does not excuse the poor state that this GTA Remastered Trilogy launched in. It’s unlikely that we’ll ever get a proper remake of this classic trilogy, thankfully, a fan has taken matters into their own hands and it’s pure wizardry. The developer that has worked such magic is YouTuber 12th Hour, a name that you may already recognise. 12th Hour is responsible for an amazing remake of Fortnite, Minecraft, Subway Surfers. In fact, 12th Hour's YouTube channel is packed full of amazing remakes, so you should check it out via the link below.

Furthermore, as with all recent remakes created by 12th Hour, the GTA San Andreas recreation and it looks incredible. We see its protagonist (or antagonist) Carl Johnson exploring Los Santos glazed beneath a beautiful sunset with GTA San Andreas instantly recognisable soothing soundtrack.

.WE CAN ONLY DREAM OF PLAYING THIS SAN ANDREAS.

Unfortunately, we’ll never get to play this amazing GTA san andreas, as it’s just a concept and an idea of what could have been. This is no doubt the remake we always wanted, but sadly will probably never get. Are you impressed with the Grand Theft Auto san andreas remake, and what would you like to see 12th Hour recreate next? Let us know across our social media channels.
